nice but messsy

We like the think board idea but most admit that when it was shipped the cleaning fluid leaked all over the other contents in the bag - even though it was sealed in a plastic bag with other items that were soaked. This put us off of it a bit, it works fine and we are still learning the potential of this products abilities.

think board

I love this idea as I always have sticky notes all over my desk. However, after using for about a week the marker did not come off the area most used. I did use the included marker and cleaning solution which just smeared the ink. I ended up cutting off the top 2 inches so I can use the rest of the board.

Okay, but not great.

Interesting idea, but not quite what I expected. Even though I used the pen & the cleaner provided, the surface stained quickly & I had to resort to rubbing alcohol to remove it. Great for hard surfaces, but anything with any flexibility the "static cling" on the back doesn't want to stick as well as it should.

Great idea, but does not always work.

I ordered a few of these as gifts for college students. One was attached to the side of a wood veneer armoire and works well, although the marker is too heavy for the velcro sticker that's provided in the package. The other Think Board was applied directly to a wall and after a short time fell off and now can't be used. It won't adhere anymore. I'm disappointed in that it was a gift that failed. Great idea, but does not always work.

Almost perfect

Way better than a bulletin board, and looks very cool. However, it's not easy to install. Air bubbles and creases will be there. it's tricky to handle and seals so well if you have air bubbles they're tough to get out. The larger the sheet, the harder it is to install.

Useful Note Taker

Think Board provides a useful capability for taking notes and reminders almost anywhere one would want. While installing, bubbles under the board surface are common and unsightly but do not detract from the ability to write.

Didn't work for me

7/10/2015 by Mary

When the Think Board arrived I had a friend help me mount it on my desk. There was a small area of about and inch that had pulled away from the backing and it never did stick to the desk, the other problem with it is when you write on it the pen never dries and when anything touches it the pen wipes right off,you don't need the cleaner, just wipes off with your hand.
I was excited about this product but it just didn't work for me.

Great idea but not so practical

I thought this product would be perfect for my desk area as pictured. Not so much, unless you use it in an area on your desk away from anything touching it as the wording will rub off

Not as good as hoped

If don't have those little blue things, not so easy to remove

Not as useful as I had hoped

9/26/2015 by Catherine

I purchased both the small and the large. I thought this would be great as it avoided the need for holes on the wall. The small one had stayed up. But the large one continues to fall down every 3 weeks or so. It is a bear to put back up as when it falls down it sticks to itself. Also it is a bit annoying not to be able to use an eraser and instead the cleaner and cloth. Also other colors do not appear well. Sounded a good idea, but alas it is mostly a waste of my money.

The Think Board Story

Think Board - Reusable Idea Surface

Write Anywhere

In order to think big, sometimes you need to write big. Think Board lets you do just that. This clear, reusable dry erase sheet adheres to almost any surface to create a “white board” for dry erase markers. Whether it’s a door, wall, fridge, or desk, you can write, erase, and write again whenever inspiration strikes. Even better, it leaves no residue when it’s removed.

Founder Hanson Grant came up with the idea and successfully launched a Kickstarter campaign to put Think Board into production. As impressive as that is, consider that Grant is a student at Babson College and that Think Board is
Made in the USA. That’s American ingenuity and entrepreneurialism at its finest, and it means that Think Board is dorm room tested and approved.

Think Board comes in multiple sizes to fit spaces big and small, and makes a great gift for students, artists, and even teachers (it seems they can never get enough white board space). Lay down one of these surfaces, and watch ideas and creativity spring to life.
