should fit better.

I am not 100% happy. I thought the sink one would go further into the whole. the tabs on the side do not go into the sink??

Does what is says, poorly

I was very excited about this product, but it did not live up to my expectations. First thing I noticed was that it made the water drain slowly; the sink would start to fill up while I washed my face or brushed my teeth. Then I realized I would have to remove it to use the basin for hand laundry. Then, when I tried to clean the hair off, it was nowhere as easy as described. It took several tries and one of the little flanges came off. Lastly, the 'shroom I got, doesn't look like the picture. The base is a bunch of little flanges instead of solid. So, yeah, not thrilled.

would not order again

this product does collect the hair, but it also does not allow the water to drain. We got about 3-4 inches of water to collect in the tub.

Doesn't work for me!!!

For some reason, these don't work in my bathroom sinks. We always have to pull them out in order for the water to exit the sink!!??? The TubShrooms work well!!!

Nice idea but...

8/11/2017 by Mary

Really does not work. It doesn't fit in completely so you can see the gunk collecting in it from the side. And it's impossible to clean, due to all the holes. I'll stick to the little sieve-like metal thingy I can get from the hardware store on the cheap.

Restricts Water Drainage

Love the concept but there is too much restriction to allow the water to drain - even when the Tubshroom is free of hair. Water backs up in the tub.

Disappointed

After I had my husband rearrange the sink so this would work, I found that it was very flimsy and collected all kinds of black gunk, making it impossible for the sink to drain properly and impossible to clean. Unfortunately, my husband passed away shortly after, so I had to buy a mesh strainer that fits in the sink. Much cheaper, and won't fall apart like your plastic gizmo. I never would have removed the original stopper had I known. Buyer beware.

It keeps the water from draining so my sink fills up.

sink shroom

12/17/2018 by Dorene

Don't like this because once it's installed, you can't fill the sink bowl. Will return

The TubShroom Story

The only ‘shroom you want in your bathroom.

Tub & Sink Drain Protectors

Elena Karnegie and her husband Serge were spurred to create TubShroom after one to many clogged drains. Take four humans and add two hairy pets—a German Shepherd and a shower-loving, super fluffy cat—and their house was prone to some serious clogs. Nothing they tried could catch all of the hair in their household, so they developed this easy-clean, catch-all plug. And the innovation didn't stop there. Elena and Serge wanted to help folks keep food and gunk out of their sinks drains as well, so they invented SinkShroom to help keep the water flowing all through the house.
