Ran small

1/13/2017 by Kathleen

My surfer husband who wears waist size 32-33 baggies found his new baggies very uncomfort. Too tight and confining.

Did not work at all

These fit my husband well, but a day at the beach with them on left him very chafed and irritated. We were really disappointed.

I bought them as a gift for him several months ago, so we cannot return them per Grommet's policy.

Really tight and uncomfortable

6/23/2016 by RR

I was excited when I read the review and immediately bought two pair in advance of our family's beach vacation. Unfortunately when I tried them on they were incredibly tight, to the point of being unwearable. I double checked the size (I am a 35-36) and the large size says it will fit 36-38. No way is someone that is a 38 going to be able to wear these and not lose circulation to key body parts.

They are so tight, in fact, that a person in good shape is going to have an instant muffin top. Not the look that most people are trying to achieve.

Perhaps the shorts were mislabeled or this batch came in small, but unfortunately these are unusable.

In general, however, the shorts seem to be well made with nice material and looks.

The Turq Performance Underwear Story

Turq Swimbrief - Swim/Board Short Liners

Get Wet or Sweat

Wetsuits and board shorts can be uncomfortable—especially when you sweat or get wet. Not anymore, thanks to Turq.

These smooth-fitting board short liners help prevent chafing and discomfort when you’re on the water or out being active. Wear them underneath your wet suit, swim trunks, or even athletic shorts and they provide a layer of comfort and protection.

Turqs are made with hydrophobic microfibers that have been infused with silver to make them anti-microbial (and thus less prone to odor). They’re quick-drying and there are no irritating seams in the front, side, or back—just comfortable
briefs, through and through. Form-fitting and supportive, but not compressive, Turqs aren’t limited to the water—you can wear them underneath cycling or gym shorts.

Founder Susan White’s two boys said their swim trunks “hurt,” but she couldn’t find any briefs designed to prevent chafing under board shorts or wetsuits. So she created Turqs. Today, athletes ranging from a professional wake boarder to a kitesurfing phenom have endorsed them.

So go ahead: Be active, get wet, and stay comfortable with Turq.
