clean sweep

6/10/2017 by TRISH ANN

Great bristles that grab that pet hair. i wish they made a smaller head one for maneuvering around litter boxes.
the best upgrade needs to be a handled tray so i don't have to bend over and lift it up. a deeper filling would be good as I'm sweeping up 5 boxes in one room - yes you can see why i need this! the angle of the bottom makes me able to push away from me or sweep towards myself - and the bend in the broom let's me get under low bed frames and dressers where that litter and hair always end up.
the snap in tray cant be snapped without holding the dust pan unless i'm doing it wrong. DO keep bristles off the ground! if not clipped into tray then just stand it on the top handle . i wish my mini hand held had a much deeper scooper . but definitely a must have pet owner item

Not as easy as it looks

I like the way it sweeps, but I find it difficult to snap in the broom with the pan. And the holders on the broom stick are sharp on the top side so not very comfortable to hold. Other than that, it does a pretty good job sweeping.

Cheap materials so be careful not to break

Not so different

The broom works fine -- pretty much like all brooms. The dustpan is better than regular ones -- but that is the only real difference i can detect

Works ok but not as well as shown

Concept is great - execution is less than great. Not bad but not as slick as shown. Would buy again but with lower expectations.

I'm on a quest for the "holy grail of brooms. This looked like it would be it, but alas... The broom portion is great, I like that I can collapse the handle for storage or a tight area. However, the dustpan is the disappointment here. To test it, I sprinkled some table salt on the floor. I then did "the two-step" of chasing what wasn't caught by the pan the first, second or third time around. I bought a second as a gift for my son. I wish that I had tested it first.

Not quite as expected

I find the design of the broom to be awkward and it leaves a line of dust on the floor no matter what I do.

I'd rather have a dust pan with a long handle so I don't have to bend down to pick it up.

I don't hate it, but it's just a broom and dustpan. Not special.

It's ok

It's an ok setup for a broom dustpan combo. I have a hard keeping the extended pieces in place

Better than some

I like my new broom but don't think it was worth the price. I was looking for a broom that would pick up pet hair and this broom does okay but not great which is what I was hoping for

Response from the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  While the WISP's bristles create electrostatic energy to attract pet hair not all pet hair is the same and some might not respond as well as others. Please contact us and we can help trouble shoot and answer any questions or provide a refund if you're not completely satisfied.

WISP Broom

Bristles are too short.

Response from the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  The bristles are intentionally short and condensed so that debris doesn't get flung across the floor like with a standard broom. In effect, it works more like a squeegee keeping allergens from getting distributed into the air.

The WISP Story

A whole new take on the dustpan and broom.

Spotless Sweep

This household essential just got a sweeping makeover.

WISP’s one-handed broom is armed with dense, short bristles that stay flush to the floor. And the bristles are electrostatic, too, so they’ll attract pet hair, dirt, and even glass into its foot-controlled, hands-free dustpan. It’s thorough, which means fewer passes with the broom.

Eben Dobson is an avid golfer (nicknamed “Wisp” for his small stature and fluid swing) who designed his first prototype to pick debris off of a golf course. It worked so well that he decided to retool it for indoors, corralling dirt off of difficult surfaces
(e.g. carpets, tiles, wood, furniture).

The dustpan creates a tight seal against the ground, so you’ll sweep into, not under it. And Eben even thought to tackle smaller jobs, with the mini WISP. It’s small enough to fit in a glove compartment or office drawer for on-the-go cleaning.

Whatever you’re keeping clean, WISP will help you do a faster, easier, more complete job.
