Didn't work for us.

I didn't order the right size. Tricky to figure that out.

A fail...

These were a fail for me. They are not strong enough to cut tough nail. They bend.

too small

5/16/2019 by Mary

They are an awesome idea and concept but they are all too small for my dogs....I have a mini schnauzer and a labrador and I have tried the medium, the large and the xl large and the xxlarge and all of them are too small and will not cut my dogs nails. I am very disappointed because I was so hoping they would work. I am sure they will work on much smaller animals, but for my two dogs, no way :(

not for big dogs

This seems like a great idea, but getting the right size is difficult. I ordered a "XXL #7 (5 mm): For medium to large dogs above 50 lbs." for my 65 lb. boxer mix. The packaging states that XXL is for dogs 30-60 lbs. It only fits on a couple of her nails. measuring with the dots on a piece of paper is difficult to do.

I have 2 cats 1 small and one medium sized and I ordered these clippers based on the recommendation and they the opening is too small for the medium cat. Not happy.

Terrible

10/12/2018 by James

The clip is way too small for my 30 lb dog. I could barely get the end of the nail in and when I did it doesn't cut. It crushes the nail, until you go all the way through, so my dog yanked his paw back. Waste of money!

great concept bad execution

bought the xl even though my dog i wanted it for was over the recommended weight limitn(plus they had a pic of a great dane in ad). I have 3 dogs so I figured it had to be good for one of them, i tried to use the mm sizing guidelines/chart- that was impossible. even the xl wont come close to fitting around my littlest dog (40lbs) nails. and even when i tried and just get the tinniest bit (really of no consequence considering the dog was freaking over getting its nails worked on at all) there was no torque (ot whatever the right engineering term is) to get the sissors to actually cut. I had to put my entire hand outside the sissor and push with two hands. I really thought the idea was unique and wanted it to work....i gambled and lost

Sizing chart needs to be changed

In spite of what the sizing chart says, the XXL didn't come close to fitting on the nails of my small (64-lb.) German shepherd.

The Zen Clipper Story

Finally! Faster, safer nail trims for pets.

Stress-Free Trims

Zen Clippers have taken their conically designed nail clippers and sized it to suit an array of pets to make nail trims easier and quicker.

There are seven sizes to fit pets like birds, lizards, bunnies, cats, and dogs. And there’s a sizing guide to make sure you get the right fit.

The cutting—or in this case, shearing—is done by a stainless-steel blade inside the conical design. There’s no sharp blade exposed, and the design allows in the just-right amount of nail, so there’s no over-cutting. This also protects the super sensitive quick from getting accidentally snipped, too.

The clippers get
the job done quickly, so there’s less hassle (and stress) for you and your pet. And they are guaranteed to last a lifetime of nail trims, too. Read More Read Less
