Very Disappointed

8/23/2018 by Sharon

The description you give states the XXL is for dogs over 50 lbs but when I received mine that I ordered it says for dogs 30-30 lbs. My dog is 75 lbs and there is no way this will work. Very Disappointed.

size matters

8/11/2018 by Sandra

everyone should order 5-6mm. I ordered the smaller sizes for my dogs and they still are too small - I would order the larger sizes as, you can always get the animals nails thru it - I can't, even with the last size I ordered (4.5 or 5mm) and I have a 13#terrier mix and a 22# poodle and it doesn't fit their nails.

Mistake

Perhaps I did not measure for my dog properly, but I only used this once because it hurt her when I clipped one of her toenails. Just be very careful when you measure.

Did not work unfortunately

Did not work for my dog unfortunately. Ended up having to take him to the vet to get his nails clipped.

Be careful what size you order

7/7/2018 by Janice

I have a medium size dog, so I bought size medium. Sounds reasonable, right? They came attached to a card with the word MEDIUM in the top right corner. Under the word MEDIUM it stated for small dogs and puppies. Needless to say, they are too small. I gave them to a friend with a very small dog.

Impossible to use. A waist of money!

7/1/2018 by jane

Although the size fits my cat's nails, it's impossible to hold my cat still to "thread the nail" in the hole.
It should come with a face mask so my cat can't see of bite me while trying to hold her down. Even with two of us holding her, the process of threading takes too long.
I wish I returned it but would have lost money in shipping.
Don't buy it if you can't easily cut your pet's nails with a traditional clipper.
A complete waist of money!

Not happy with clippers

6/11/2018 by Michele

I ordered this for our 2 labs. I ordered the larger size and find they were not strong enough to use on their nails. I had to use 2 hands to squeeze the handles to cut their nails and found it very awkward to use.

Didn’t work for me

4/22/2018 by Susan

I have three dogs and thought this would be a good clipper- but it is very difficult to use/squeeze to clip the nails. I had to use two hands to squeeze the clippers and that was very awkward with squirmy dogs. I’ll go back to my old nail clipper . . .

Difficult to use

Don’t buy this. Had to go to pet supply store and buy a dog nail clipper that is easier to use.
You should refund purchase and shipping costs and send paid shipping label and packaging so I can returnit.

The Zen Clipper Story

Finally! Faster, safer nail trims for pets.

Stress-Free Trims

Zen Clippers have taken their conically designed nail clippers and sized it to suit an array of pets to make nail trims easier and quicker.

There are seven sizes to fit pets like birds, lizards, bunnies, cats, and dogs. And there’s a sizing guide to make sure you get the right fit.

The cutting—or in this case, shearing—is done by a stainless-steel blade inside the conical design. There’s no sharp blade exposed, and the design allows in the just-right amount of nail, so there’s no over-cutting. This also protects the super sensitive quick from getting accidentally snipped, too.

The clippers get
the job done quickly, so there’s less hassle (and stress) for you and your pet. And they are guaranteed to last a lifetime of nail trims, too. Read More Read Less
